All across America houses have many different types of home windows. The reasons for this are partly historical because people used whatever technology, tools and materials were available at the time. Also from region to region, different styles were in vogue at different times.
In some cases, there are environmental or architectural reasons why one type of home windows is preferable to others. However, in most cases in modern homes, the style chosen is mostly a matter of personal preference.
